Elemental Hypnotherapy takes your privacy very seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the services you have requested from us. This includes information we receive, collect or store which you enter on our website or provide us in any other way.

All Hypnotherapy is confidential and complies with GDPR. 

I am the only person who works for Elemental Hypnotherapy, therefore I am both the Data Controller and the Data Protection Officer.

Log Data

Our servers automatically log the standard data provided on your web browser. It may include internet protocol (IP) addresses to connect to the computer or the internet: login, e-mail, address, password, computer connection information and purchase history.

Device Data

We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visit to certain pages , page interaction information and methods used to browse away from the page.

Personal information

We may request personal information listed below; your personal information will be used for specific reasons stated above.

• Email

• Phone/mobile number

• Home/mailing list

• Payment information

• Information of a personal nature related to your service request

• If you are referred to me by someone else (e.g. a Doctor); I may get some information from them 

• If there is a legal requirement for me to share the information (e.g. a court order or warrant is issued)

• If you ask me in writing to share your information with someone else

• I keep the information you give me for seven years, which is the length of time required by my professional body and my insurance company. After this time it is shredded and disposed of securely​

Privacy policy updates

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting to the website. If we make changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988 and 2003, you have the right to access any information that we would have relating to you. The client has the right to complain to the Independent Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if they think there is a problem with the way we are handling their data.
